LSCC Student Ministry
-Knowing Jesus, Loving People-
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” - Jesus
John 13:34-35
Vision
Living Stone Calvary Chapel’s (LSCC) Student Ministry is a ministry geared towards developing middle school and highschool students into individuals who take action as followers of Jesus. This action takes place through becoming students of God’s Word and understanding it for the sake of applying it in real life opportunities to love the world around them with the love that Jesus Christ offers.
Mission
The mission of LSCC Student Ministry is to help the youth in our community grow in their understanding of God, develop a personal relationship with Him, and as a result have a transformed view of what it means to serve and love others in their homes, communities, and friend groups.
Core Elements:
Love for Others - John 13:34-35
Prayer - Philippians 4:6-7
God’s Word - 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Fellowship - Hebrews 10:24-25
Living on Mission - Mark 16:15
In all of these things our focus is on Jesus Christ and how He is the perfect model for us to follow as we live for Him and allow the transforming work of the Holy Spirit to guide and direct our lives. - Galatians 2:20
Sunday Morning Youth Ministry
During the 9:30 service (summer) and 11:00 service (fall, winter & spring), youth 6th through 8th grade begin with their parents for worship, and then join together for class. The first Sunday of each month, students participate in Communion during service and are encouraged to serve in some capacity in the various ministries of the church.
